    I agree, the hopeful version is infinitely superior to the 'yay Christmas is awesome' version. That's kind of the tone I want to capture here, that since this is just a lull in the storm but they're still in the middle of a war against the Entity, this might be Ilsa's best Christmas in some ways (because they finally kissed) but there's still complications looming and it's not as good as Christmas can be.
