If I was in the stands, I would be the biggest Cold Space Team cheerleader in the entire arena. Speaking of the arenas, where do they take place? What are the gimmicks of the arena?
Every match takes place within the same arena. Said arena was constructed for the purpose of hosting the tournament, and is inside a building. I don't have any details beyond this because I haven't thought about it until now.
The terrain within that arena depends on the tournament's current round. During Round 1, there was nothing inside. During Loser's Round 1 and Winner's Round 2, the entire room has and will be filled with fog which can only seen by those inside the sphere defining victory and defeat. See the end of Chapter 2, the start of Chapter 4, and the start of Chapter 12 for more details.
Calling the sphere defining the victory and defeat "the arena" is a bit of a misnomer, since some of the fighting is expected to spill into the wide space separating that edge and the barrier that keeps bullets from hitting the audience (this barrier is first noted to exist partway through chapter 11, and hasn't been brought up since), but I don't have a better term to use in its place.
