sometimes this song plays at work, so i keep associating it with my work, so sometimes i'll just be sitting there and a completely different song will be playing and i'll still be thinking about this fic and these two and get all giggly. single handedly giving me the strength to deal with annoying shifts. truly i owe you a life debt. they're just so adorable i hope they're happy 5ever. it's almost midnight thirty here im kind of only a little bit awake and in a weird place brainwise. anyways i am rotating them in my brain at speeds that could break the sound barrier. do u think he ever told her things from his past that he wouldn't tell anyone else, just because she's the only one he knows who might understand. she's been through some real shit and did things she probably shouldn't have. he didn't try arguing with her about morality because he knows that sometimes it's you or the other guy. i should write a fic about them, as the self-proclaimed Local Melodramatic Angsty Guy. anyways thank u for making this exist it scratches my brain itch real good

I absolutely think Taika talks with Farrah about things he is ashamed to admit to anyone else. I want to incorporate that into the sequel to this fic, but I am having trouble pinning down some realistic backstory that melds with all the canon. I also have a concept that isn't quite a WIP yet, where Taika and Farrah reunite. There's this one reference in book 8 or 9 about Farrah taking Taika away for a week to do aura training, and it sounds VERY MUCH like they snuck off for a little private time and Jason fully missed the obvious hints. Yeah, buddy. They're "aura training." Suuuuuuure.
