    Oooh this was fun! I've never read Gotham Academy, but I quite liked the dynamic between Olive and Maps, and a POV Outsider spin on a vigilante operating outside the suit has always been a weakness of mine. Plus!! Murder on a train!! It's a classic for a reason 😌

      Thank you! I do love the dynamics between the GA characters (even if I couldn't conceivably fit them all info this fic due to the time constraints), but I read Second Semester to review the characters while writing and the Olive & Maps dynamic is great.

      It is 😉 I asked some of my friends who are fellow mystery-lovers but out of the fandom for help with brainstorming, and I wasn't sure about the train at first, but I ended up having ideas for that setting first (my other options were cruise ship, and some kind of incident happening at their high school reunion).
