001. acting // i liked how constance and anne were so into their scene that they didn't even hear treville calling cut. i also liked how everyone just stayed around to watch them makeout.
002. dystopian // that scene is so tense! does anne make it through the night? i like to think that she does, but all we know is that aramis stopped the bleeding and stitched the wound up.
003. university // i liked how anne just casually destroys all of athos' hopes and dreams with that one sentence.
004. high school // aramis is so obvlivious here; poor porthos. i liked seeing all the different extracurricular activities everyone had. and i really liked the moment when constance realised that she was the person that aramis was matchmaking for,
005. magic/witchcraft // i liked how when aramis gave a practical and helpful suggestion, anne just ignores him. i also really liked this line,
“You’re not helping,” Anne says, sighing, and turning back to the index in case there’s a euphemism for love that she’s missed.
006. musicians/bands // this is my favourite section! everyone is playing instruments that fits them perfectly, the crowd singing back so loud you almost can't hear aramis, anne being their opening act and then asking constance to dance backstage. i especially love the part where we see how hard constance works in baby-sitting the band. we get so little information, but you still manage to tell us so much.
007. neighbours // the little guessing game that d'artagnan and constance have going on is amusing. i'm curious too: who are all the men? (louis, rochefort, treville???) what does anne do~? i like to think she's still a princess, but trying to be normal~ or just slumming it, but she keeps needing stuff that you can't just buy if you're trying to stay undercover, so she sends all these guys out to get it for her.
008. noir // with porthos' love of wine, it makes sense that he'd own a speakeasy. and it's just the type of rebellious thing the boys would do, even in a corrupt town where the mob probably try to coerce them into paying for protection. i love how constance is literally this ray of light soming to give hope to anne when she needs it the most.
009. space // i like how all the ladies' exes are on different planets, and how the ladies are all working together. my favourite phrase is:
[...]desperately miserable and drowning by degrees.
010. superheroes // i like the idea of d'artagnan being constance's sidekick, probably on clean-up duty so that constance can get back to anne as soon as it's safe to do so.
