    Please forgive the stupid question, but what does religion have to do with that? Isn't the whole immortal soul thing the whole deal with religions? I don't quite see how ghosts are a problem with that.

      Ehh...it depends on who you ask, really. Some people think the concept of ghosts existing is wrong because they aren't supposed to linger and they certainly can't have afterlives like the ones in Danny Phantom. If they aren't stuck in an obsessive loop or lurking around where they died, they're supposed to be in Heaven or Hell. So, he starting claiming they were just creatures from a parallel dimension. Also, Vlad was originally supposed to be a vampire but that wasn't allowed, for some reason. That's why a lot of people have him be a vampire ghost, feeding off of weaker ghosts. His converting is also why they stopped doing the whole "these are dead people", leading to enemies like Nocturne and other things like him showing up in later seasons.

            Uhm, sorry if there's another stupid question but why was Vlad being a vampire a problem? If ghosts are real why are vampires a problem?

                There hasn't been anything about Vlad so far.
                You introduced Danny, his family, his friends, the little Wee blob and a few other teenagers .

                And I just don't get it. If they have ghosts, genies and I think there was a werewolf, why not vampires?
