    Haha, yeah, these two can bury their head in the sand or pretend they don't see the writing on the wall but fate is not so easily changed.

    That is a very good question. Actually, my notes on smilk from that point in the story when he ran is literally 'there is no salvation.' Which explains his mental state pretty well.

    And bingo! The silver did a number on him, for sure. I've got plans for the silver, or rather I'm trying to come up with some explanations for what we see in canon...as well as the fact I'm planning to...well...let's just say bmilk will not have a fun time with silver exposure given some of the side effects I've hopefully outlined over the prior chapters.

    Yeah, BM is totally learning from PV and all the cookies he's meeting and opening himself up a little, gaining hope and friends and people to cherish and protect and things to want. I'm honestly really really excited to get to the climax of this part of the story, haha, but I've still got...so much to get through to get there and build it up properly, lol.

    (Yeah...it's totally doomed. I'm sure you know what they say about 'the higher you rise...')
