    No, chosen doesn't know about the code since (I think) he was busy fighting clippy when tdl was being made, so he couldn't have seen it.
    Yeah, but I think he started making them in his lab first

    It is post showdown, this takes place like a few weeks/month after they escape Alan's pc and before the cyber attacks
