    I mean, all of JK Rowlings characters are complicated. Well, except the toad, shes the sole purely evil character with absolutely no ryme or reason for being that way lol.

    I can't remember which book but Ron compares Marcus to a troll, implying hes ugly and stupid. I only remember because the Marcus/Harry fanfics utilize this line a lot. Same with Petunia it's hinted at when seeing Snapes memory of first meeting Lily, and Petunia mentions, I think when Hagrid comes, how their parents favored Lily for being the witch of the family.

    And I always viewed Dumbles like one of those bosses who uses his ceo status to get away with workplace harassment. Hes powerful and dangerous, as such, u are not given a choice at all
