    I had read the chapter, I had *planned* a comment... and then simply never gotten around to it :D

    Yeah, the female bushi being treated as "mostly male" makes a lot of sense and works well. And of course, even the strictest social mores have always been bent more and had more exceptions than we think.

    Oh, Goro totally saved Oguri's life there at the end of the bathing scene :D

    Hopefully the Agility course has less drunk Crabs ("woe is me, who suffer the consequences of my actions!" was a great idea for the storytelling). Hopefully the singing has *more* :D
