    Ahhh, I'm happy that my reply made you feel honored and all lol <3

    Honestly the ship doesn't make me feel uncomfortable or anything. I see your point and everything! Honestly I was expecting something way worse which probably says more about me than you haha. I mainly see this as like a 'I understand this' mainly because of the whole poison when seeing Kymopoleia (I think thats how you spell it). Because Jason was the first ever person that Percy really opened up to about his suicidal tendencies (and then Trials of Apollo but we don't talk about that) so I feel out of all the ships out there this isn't bad and I understand it. I saw a Poseidon/Percy one before and almost cried because like yeah its Greek mythology but like still. Anyway, when I was reading this I was like 'Damn, they a whole detective' which i don't mean in any bad way i think it's funny and it's cool how deeply you looked into it! But yeah overall I understand and you totally didn't make me uncomfortable!!

      I am so glad because I am actually deeply terrified of Fandoms after I once shared my Opinion and got really rude answers, but based on your reply I hoped that I could share and I am really happy that I was right<3
      The Reason why it’s such a Paragraph is actually simply because I ship based on Character Understanding. I am thankful that you didn’t mind my whole rant and weren’t uncomfortable!
      (Yea ToA broke me, but it’s not even for shipping reasons that I wish it hadn’t happened. More that the three most traumatized Characters just lost their safe haven and what shall not be spoken again was horrible on Jason)
      Percy/Poseidon is actually horrible though, like I see the tag and run the other direction. Like ok Gods don’t have DNA, but you’re still related by blood to your Parent which makes any Ship with your Half-Siblings OR YOUR PARENT incestous 😭

        Yeah I totally get the being scared about sharing your opinions thing! I’be been told off in a fandom about an opinion before. I’m glad you seemed you were able to tell me, i like people thinking they’re able to tell me things lol. Honestly I like shipping based on understanding and reasoning as well because I feel like if it doesn’t make sense its just not as good you know? And don’t worry, I rant in comments a lot and in texting lol.
        Yeah the Poseidon/Percy is just SO weird in my opinion like its actually scary😭. Like his blood(ichor whatever) is still technically… part of you??? so it just makes me feel uncomfortable and stuff its weird. Like it’s still family and incest technically.

          I’m glad I trusted you aswell because it really makes me so happy to be able to share my Opinion and not feel like how dare I walk this earth and instead feeling accepted. I’m really grateful to you for that.
          I completely agree that if it doesn’t make sense then why am I shipping these Characters? Like my priorities in shipping is that the Characters find happiness with eachother, not the Relationship but the Characters. Like if what the Characters need for their happiness isn’t romance but a platonic soulmate then that’s the way I’d define their relationship. And only if I see it requited between both and not just one Character gets their Happiness from the other while the other is completely fine on their own with no happiness gained by the relationship.

          I think no matter how fucked up Greek Mythology is, only Zeus has tried his daughter and I think even that was Zeus not seeing Persephone as his Child, because She’s Demeter’s Daughter and Hades’s Wife(Still freaking horrible). Also Percy was still raised within normal Society and there’s no way his Mom would let it happen. And it is Incest because Poseidon does view Percy as his Child. It wouldn’t matter even if Poseidon wasn’t related to Percy, it would still be incest.
