      Lol I've got a fun plot line for the how's and why's Yeomra got dethroned by Gwi-ma and what he got up to afterwards until getting caught and imprisoned!

      And yeah, it's definitely one of those if you know you know type Easter eggs in the start of the fic but since a lot of the readers will likely have minimal korean mythology knowledge, itll be a twist they won't see coming! Unless of course they're reading these comments lmao

        That does sound intriguing...especially if you consider him, King Yama, and King Emna etc to essentially be the same being, just with name changes depending on region/country. In that situation, how would Rumi react to potentially having an adopted older sister I wonder (I play FGO pleasedontjudgetoohardlol and admittedly, the Enmatei event is one of my favorites and I ended up loving Beni-emna, but never rolled her myself...she'd probably personally feed both gangs until btoh were stuffed if such a crossover ever happened and this is rhetorical lol) Also...is Yeomra being her father explaining why Gwi-Ma can't exert his influence on her or do you think that is a half-demon thing in general? In all fairness, Rumi is the only half-demon we see of obvious reasons

          Bestie I gotta be honest, I have no clue who anyone you just mentioned is besides that Yama is the god that Yeomra evolved from in Korean mythos when buddism made its way out of India. I am very new to the Korean mythology world, only read two manwas before and neither dealth with the mythology. Which is why I had to literally read anthropology research papers about the Korean mythology and religious and cultural practices and influences.

          And Yeomra being Rumi's dad def gives Rumi powers that other demons don't have and a way easier time doing certain magics and stuff. All of which I'll be exploring on the journey of Rumi's identity reveal lol.

            Haha, no worries. I'm actually new to Korean mythology too. Honestly, most of what I read about Yeomra came from the looking up Enma cuz I'm into FGO. I may be ethnically Korean but I spent most of my time in the states and currently live in Japan for work. Enma is the similar to Yeomra, just the Japanese version. Beni-enma is King Enma's fictional adopted daughter from FGO, inspired by six Japanese children's stories. Honestly, the only reason why I would want Yama, Yeomra, and Enma to be the same death god would be a crossover AU where maybe Huntrix and the Saja Boys somehow visit the Enmatei and meet Rumi's fictional adopted sister but that's just me lol Sorry for rambling
