The grumbling and insults are definitely more fond than anything since that's very much their thing by then. But Ace with a grudge is like a dog with a bone. It's going to take something BIG to make him let go of it. The order of acceptance of Shanks as part of the family really went Luffy-Sabo-Ace, and in Sabo's case, he's also more hindsightful than his brothers, so he came to accept it more easily than Ace (still took a couple years). Just trust me to get things where I want them to be ;)
