Alder as a young man being gentle feels weird like it matches with Alder the elder but not really with Alder the youth obessed with power and prestige who only really began slowing down and gaining wisdom after experiencing personal loss thst no amount of strength or power could beat.
Then again Drayden is a highly competent and a bit arrogant himself so Alder being somewhat laissez-faire or at least giving that impression would stick to him badly and have him be at least a bit negatively biased.
Curious if this is a pattern between the more aggressive and angry Agatha and Pyrce to Wattson and Bertha who were comparatively happier and more relaxed even with the tragedies around them.
