While believable (due to fanfiction) this Harry seems much more bitter towards the Headmaster than anything canon justifies - without showing us what Dumbledore has done to specifically earn that ire. Stowing that under 'justified by FF', I can move on and say that this is a first for me, I've never seen a middle-of-1st year Harry making such a bold decision. Dumped by the Dursleys before Hogwarts? Hundreds of them. Leaving after the debacle of 2nd/3rd/or any year after? By the bushel basket. The cloak is a nice touch and will be invaluable - unless Dumbledore has sewn tracking runes into it as is supposed in much of fanon. It definitely has runes sewn to give Dumbledore the ability to SEE it (that's canon) or it's really not much of a Deathly Hallow (such that even Death could not find it - or the wearer). That said, supposing the 'I see you' runes are present, the Headmaster still has to be nearby... OK, my 'what if' motor is running flat out, sorry about that. I am excited to see where young Mr. Potter ends up!
