    Aaw thank you. Yes i really thought it would make sense for Dusk to be afraid of failing. To really be struggeling with that and his fixation on keeping his promise. As variant of Shadow i think it really fits. I'm glad you like it. He's just so focused on keeping his promise, so afraid of failing. He could be relaxing, rest up, try to enjoy himself while he's waiting out the storm. Instead he can't help but work on planning his next trip. Making a new map because he wants to go back to that island and keep his promise. To the point where he just completely exhausted himself. This chapter was a bit slower but i did really want to show this fear and more of his past with Celeste.

    The interaction between Pearl. She's cares and is so sweet. Just the bit where she put extra cupcakes on the tray with extra strawberries on top. Dusk is just so confused and awkard. He can't comprehend she made them especially for him because she cares and is worried. Just like with the hat Ivory fixed for him. Pearl is just the sweetest showing him kindness. I'm glad you liked the part where he fell asleep. Dusk was trying so hard to stay awake. I really wanted to show how he was just exhausting himself even when he doesn't really have to. It just happens and you don't even know exactly when he fell asleep or how long he was asleep. Pearl certainly did come by with food a few times. How many times? How long did Dusk sleep? I wonder about that. Did you notice that there was a blanket draped over his shoulders?

    We are getting closer to Dusk and Shiver meeting. I thought that we would get to where they meet sooner then this but i felt like all these chapters where necessary. Knowing Shivers initial reaction to just seeing Dusk the first time, i don't think he'll be to thrilled seeing him again. What will Dusks reaction be once he meets Shiver?

      I did notice that! I assume one of the rabbits did that. Considering Pearl is the one who drops off the food all the time, it was probably here. Very sweet.

      And I agree, the chapters in between were all very important. That's just how it goes sometimes.

      I imagine Shiver will have a panic attack, if he even has the energy for one will how ill he is currently. See if he recovers at all before Dusk gets there or he's going to be so out of it.

      And I'm not sure about Dusk's reaction. Surprise. But also eh was sure he felt eyes on him the first time, so perhaps not. Certainly a touch of pity, even if he doesn't outwardly show it. Concern. If Shiver's still violently ill, then Dusk would surely jump into action to get him medical attention - can't have anyone suffering.

        Yay i'm glad you noticed and it is indeed very sweet to put a blanket over his shoulders. I don't think he noticed though. Shiver yeah he's definitly not going to react well to seeing Dusk.

        Will he recover or will he be completeky out of it? If he's still so ill then yes i doubt Dusk would leave him to suffer. That would mean he breaks his promise. Can't have that.

        I'm glad you agree that the chapters in between where necessery. I do have more ideas and stuff that i don't know if it will be able to fit. So i might make that one shots. Probably it's very likely.
