Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm relatively new to DD (came aboard about 2 years ago in the middle of Vol. 3) and have spent the last year or so catching up on canon. When I read Born Again, I think it was the first time I understood why Frank Miller has been so well-respected for so long. But, like you, I didn't like Foggy getting taken out of the picture. Especially since I love the way Waid is currently portraying his dynamic with Matt.
The Foggy-Glori relationship... sigh... I think the main problem with it is that as readers, we see these two well on their way to becoming a couple by #229, two issues after Glori's break-in. In comics, we're used to it sometimes taking 12 months of real time to cover 1 week of comic time. We sort of forget that weeks pass in #227 (all that time that Foggy and Matt spent planning their defense, while Kingpin's people were snapping photos of Matt's deterioration). And Glori had dumped Matt right when Kingpin's plans were going into action, so it's not nearly as bad as if she'd been two-timing Matt with his best friend. Still... not great. *sigh of my own*
