    I’m absolutely OBSESSED with this fic . I love the complex dynamics of the three, and with miyeong and Celine, and surprisingly, the topic of Jinu too! I love how every bit of it is handled so much

    I’m ESPECIALLY loving the characterization of Miyeong and Celine and their relationship. Celine being both harsher and more willing to yield because of Miyeong’s optimism and kindness… and you can just SEE how losing Miyeong would turn Celine into the version of herself we see in the movie. The little bit of Rumi’s Celine with summoning the sword— Celine calling her “Rumi-ya” especially killed me . Ugh .

    And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the polytrix. It’s so beautifully done, how in this uncertain circumstance, they hold onto each other so protectively… how Zoey and Mira stick by her side, and Rumi, now having told the truth, is having trouble lying this time… it really is beautiful

    God I could go through this chapter line by line but I’d probably hit the character limit for ao3 fics . Anyways I really really love this and I’m excited for the next chapter

      yes, that's definitely something i wanted to show in the fic! rumi's of course spent all her life hearing about her mother from celine, and she's had to piece together the kind of person her mother was for someone like celine to love her as much as she does (romantically, platonically - doesn't really matter), so i wanted to give her the chance to not only meet her mother, but also see the relationship she might/could have had with celine, and why celine ended up the way she did when she lost miyeong. think superman losing lois lane lmao
