I've had this bookmarked for a few years now because of the summary, but I've only just started reading it. Only 3 chapters in and I am blown away and intrigued by the direction you've taken Hardwin in. I can't until Marcus comes into play. Most Marcus/Harry stories I've read have Marcus as the one who takes charge and keeps Harry safe. Those stories also usually take place during Harry's Hogwarts years so Voldy and Dumbles are still a problem so Harry needs protection. However, this is an EWE so both manipulators are dead and gone so the hardest obstacle seems to learning how to move on and build a new life.
