Bayous and swamps are great for this kind of thing! A little too good, actually, which is why a lot of Southern states are dealing with an influx of invasive species. Probably most famously Florida and its Burmese Pythons, but that warm and humid climate is great for all manner of invasive birds, bugs, reptiles and amphibians. At least this particular bayou will suffer no invasive species and Alastor can control what lives in it. That being, currently, one very large demonic snake.
