My, my, my...this is going to be interesting. Though if I were Luke I would have quite a few questions. Why wasn't Vader there? How did the Organas kidnap him? And what about his mother? His world has been turned upside down. His life isn't what he thought it was. His destiny isn't what he thought it was. Also, now that the barrier has been lifted, will he begin to feel the stirrings of the force potential inside of him?
You're so right. There are many questions, Vader will have some as well. Though Luke does not feel comfortable to ask them in that moment. Now with the still somewhat uneasy deal he has struck he is in a better position to get some answers, without fearing Vader attacking his homeworld. Vader will begin to train him, so he will definitely begin to develop his Force potential. As a more direct fallout from Vader breaking through is that he may have inherited his father's proclivity for unsettling dreams/visions. Also I love your sentences about his life and destiny not being what he thought, I hope you won't mind if I work them somewhere into the story.

Oh, go ahead. Luke and Leia are twins, but they are not like each other. Luke doesn't belong on Alderaan anymore than Leia belonged on Tatooine. And Luke will be his father's son, even if he doesn't realize it. The two are so much alike. Actually to deny Luke that part of him, the mechanic, the pilot, the Force itself, it's like cutting off a part of himself. I know there was another story I read where Vader found out about Luke, and he says that the worst thing you can do to someone who has massive potential and power, is to bar them from ever being able to develop it. And that's basically what they did to Luke. He has power and potential greater than his father, who is the freaking Chosen One, and yet he's never even been allowed to even feel the force his whole life? I would be pissed simply because of that.
Also, I would be questioning Bail as well, because like Vader thought, the man didn't even say anything in order to at least try to protect Luke once Vader took a hold of him. That might just be telling in its own way.
I quite agree. Luke is terrible at being Alderaanian, at least from his nature which is so much like his father combined with his mother's forgiving streak.Being brought up by the Organas and as their heir he however knows exactly what is expected of him. And he is, true to his character, more than willing to do it, realising how much of a figurehead he will be/is for a (peaceful) resistance however much he would love to fight. It is doubly hard for him, as he knows he is adopted while no one else may know this secret making him (at least for a time) feeling insecure over his position in life and now everything has shifted once again.
I find it astounding that you mention the mechanic and the pilot as I also thought it important, too (besides the obvious Force potential). I have scenes planned going ahead where Vader and Luke bond over exactly that.
Bail and Breha had the best at mind. They tried (futilely) to keep Vader from taking Luke, but as he did they could not tell him. Thinking Vader to be the Emperor's man through and through they would have thought Luke would be handed over to Palpatine by Vader himself, should he learn his true identity, they merely hoped the shroud around Luke mind would be enough for Vader to never find out (Kenobi has crafted it before he left Luke with them). At the very least they did not tell him the same terrible lie Kenobi did to set up Canon-Luke against his father. Bail and Vader will meet in the future on different occasions and will have, um... opportunity to discuss their respective motives (at least that's how I have roughly drafted it)
