I really appreciate that you point out their dynamic as a strong point in the fic! This means a lot to me actually because for a lot of this fic I really worried about getting their characterizations and their interactions right. (Especially with this being my first time writing femslash, as I kept saying lol) Idk I just put a lot of pressure on myself to depict it realistically, and also kept thinking they were too similar which looking back really isnt the case at all lol. Yeah Haley secretly being a girl’s girl is very important to me. It was sort of my way in with her character. She was one of the characters I really didn’t have much interest in, either when I was first playing the game or when I started participating in fandom especially because she was interpreted as mean. People who liked her did so because she was mean. Which, more power to them, but that’s not my vibe lol. Then it was actually one of my friends (unfortunately not in the server) who explained her reading of Haley as autistic and actually a girl’s girl and it blew my mind (and then I fell in love lol)
