Holy shit this is actually amazing, two chapters in and I'm speechless... This might be the best use of unreliable narrator ever...
The fact you chose pure phainon for this, not even khaslana, no millions of coreflames in him, no hate towards Nanook, no knowledge of the greater universe, and dropped him straight into teyvat makes this amazing... He doesn't even doubt he's in amphoreus, the thoughts of being in another world doesn't even come to him... This is the best one out of all the phainon gets isekaied to teyvat fics I've read here...
Oh the narration and characterizations too, everything is amazing...
Also the incorporation of both games lore, making everything plausible in canon, the difference between natlan and mydei's version of war, phainon's internal monologue... Wow this looks like it's going to be an amazing well thought out fic...
And if I had a dollar every time a account with no works suddenly posts a long fic with amazing writing I would have a lot of money... The best fics are always these long ones out of nowhere...

laughs I am most flattered. I love weaving together the lore until not even the audience can tell if Phainon IS Phanes or not. It’s entirely possible the Shades are correct. Or they could be wrong. There’s an answer, but I’m never telling.
