Summary
John Hamish Watson isn’t the kind of man who feels comfortable remaining still. He races through life with the same urgency as a rabbit trying to outrun a fox. He’s always wondered what he was running to, but now, as peace settles around him, he knows he’d been searching for this.
This is the first instalment in 'The Pilot Universe' series, which follows the unaired pilot versions of John and Sherlock. It explores John's relationship with his sister and the beginning of his friendship with Sherlock.

Summary
Sherlock and John are stranded in the middle of nowhere after a case goes wrong. Both are gravely injured, but Sherlock hides the extent of his injuries. He swallows down the pain, and pushes past the severe bleeding of his head wound, putting John's welfare ahead of his own. This leads to dire consequences.
This is part 2 of 'The Pilot Universe' series. Warnings : Contains graphic medical descriptions and heavy angst. Oh, and John swears, because I see him as the type of person to swear in these kind of situations.
