Summary
First he loses his wife, then his sight (and with it, his career). His son grows up, his friends move on. But Anduin Lothar isn't sad, really. He's just a little slow on his descent. He just needs a little more time with his head in the clouds before he returns back to the grounded life. And maybe, he just really needs to ask the boy he passes every morning on his walk why the kid is always murmuring curses under his breath.

Become a photographer, Khadgar, they said. You'll travel the world, you'll meet all sorts of interesting people, they said. No one thought to mention the secret society of journalists, photographers, and artists that seem weirdly obsessed with keeping a legendary anonymous artist both alive and working. They never mentioned said legendary artist was a hot middle-aged man with too many secrets and too big plans. this is not the life Khadgar thought he'd have after dropping out of college, but at least it's not boring.
