The ice was his everything, or it had been. Some days, when he was just walking, he felt wrong. His muscles felt like they should be skating, his body craved the ice and the sensations of it. Dancing made up for some of it, but not the bulk of it, not the part he needed.
“I can’t.” He whispered. “I can’t live a life without skating. I can’t give it up.”
Otabek didn’t say anything.
“But I can’t give you up again either.”

“3rd Builders Street.” He rattled off an address without thinking much about it, leaning his aching head against the cool glass of the window. This trip was going to cost him a fortune.

This can be read entirely separately from the Golden Cathedral series, I just feel like this would be one of Yuri's many moments towards realization of self. Also...Viktor totally loves this movie.
