Lee Taeyong is a 16 year old who, after surviving what should have been a fatal car accident, discovers that he is in fact a mutant. When he enrolls at a special school for mutants in New York, he finds himself at the center of a horrible scheme to create a "cure" for the mutant gene. This sends him and his classmates on the run as they fight for their lives against a human supremacist group, known as the Circle of Purification
