Summary
** On Hiatus **
AU universe. No Reapers.
Humanity is just now being accepted as a Citadel race. Shepard is nominated for Spectre. But never told of the requirements.
The only thing she knew was that Spectres were not trained only chosen, they were beings forged in the fires of battle, or at least that's part of what the pompous bastards spouted in the data file that was sent to the Systems Alliance when the humans asked to have some of their members evaluated.
The time for her mentoring is now over. She has been evaluated and recommended for acceptance as a full Spectre. Now she needs to fulfill the rest of the requirements.

Summary
** On Hiatus**
This is an Alternate universe of one of my Alternate universe stories. Confusing innit...
So a request was made to have a story where my female Shepard, Jade and one of my most beloved original characters, Carius, actually have a chance at a lasting relationship.
So spins a tangled web. Do I somehow have a higher power intervene? Do I change my main story to have Carius replace Kolyat as her love interest? Or do I make a completely different story all together. One with a far happier time together for these two than where their original story had led them.
The nice thing about Alternate Universes ... I can do whatever the hell I want ... ;)
So begins a new tale of Jade Shepard and Carius Indril.
~~~
Fresh from Earth a new C-Sec rookie finds herself partnered with a turian. When her new boss tells her that all of the Officer Candidates must attend the C-Sec Charity Ball or be stuck on lower ward duty for the next year she cringes. See, there is one thing nobody but her knows ... Shepard can't dance. When her partner learns her secret he assures her that he knows just the person to teach her and his name is Carius.
