Summary
The mission had been going well. Had. Tony, Nat, Clint, Peter, and Wanda had been sent on it to stop a crazed, overdramatic magician that had the power to control minds via a strange black fog. They were going to take Rhodey, but the man decided that it was probably fake and they didn’t need his help.
It was so not fake. Tony knew this when he and the kid had been separated from the others and the black fog had drifted around the corner, quickly filling the street and making it hard to see anything but dark, ominous smoke. He knew that there was a filter designed specifically to keep this kind of stuff out in both Peter’s and his own suit, so he wasn’t too worried.
Until they heard a child’s scream in the building beside them.

Summary
Tony turned as he blasted an alien with his repulsor, the creature’s lifeless body falling onto the ground before him. Directly afterward, he swiftly swirled around to dodge a spear as it hurtled past his head. His eyes went wide and he sought out the alien who threw it, his gaze quickly landing on the ugly thing. After a repulsor blast to the head, that creature stilled as well. Tony’s eyes flashed back to the weapon on the ground and he ran over to it, examining the dark red, oily substance that covered the blade. After a moment, he reached to his ear, speaking into the comms.
“Guys, watch out. I think there’s poison on their blades”
“Yeah, I saw that too. Don’t get hit. We don’t know what this stuff could do” Sam replied from where he soared a few streets away. Suddenly, Tony found himself regretting bringing Peter along on this mission. As if hearing Tony’s thoughts, the kid landed directly beside the billionaire.

Summary
After the events of Homecoming and Civil War, everyone is happy. Tony realizes how much he cares about Peter, Peter realizes that he sees Tony as a father, even the Avengers are back together! But things go downhill as Toomes breaks out of jail with the intention to kill, and his target is Spider-man.
