He’s never seen someone skate so furiously and beautifully at the same time, never imagined it was even possible to combine both incredible grace and ferocious power in under three minutes of music.
He’s always thought of figure skating as something crystalline and delicate until Bakugou Katsuki opens his program with the jarring notes of a battlecry, no buildup to the intensity of his first spins, no fragility in the strength of his leaps. There is nothing delicate about the way he skates but there is nothing clumsy about it either, every movement equally precise and powerful, like the harsh, deliberate strokes of a calligraphy brush on paper. From beginning to end he holds the entire arena in awe of him, commands their attention in a way one small boy— surely no older than Kirishima, surely no bigger than him— skating in a rink built for thousands should not be able to.

Summary
Bakugou Katsuki— three-time national champion, two-time World champion, Olympic gold favorite— is a flurry of swift turns and powerful leaps that cut through the air, stealing the breath from Kirishima's lungs. He lands cleanly, the slash of his skate echoing in the empty rink until Kirishima's hip collides against the boards, rattling them like thunder on a cloudless day.
Bakugou spins around, eyes narrowing into a glare. "You're not supposed to be here." He speaks with a chill in his voice, but all it does is spark a heat that blooms like wildfire across Kirishima’s cheeks.

He didn't think it was possible, but Bakugou's frown deepened. It wasn't aimed at Kirishima, or at least it didn't seem to be, but there was a sizzling undercurrent of frustration that felt like it might explode out of him at any moment.
Kirishima waited, letting Bakugou find his words as he let his own skates glide him closer.
"Those assholes," Bakugou finally gritted out, fists clenched and eyes flashing with burning determination, "are planning to skate together."
