Summary
Fuguku-sama was bound to be very, very angry after the stunt they pulled today. She doubted she or Shisui would be permitted to see Itachi for weeks, maybe not until the academy started back up for the next term. Of course, that didn't mean that they wouldn't; just that they'd have to do so when no one was paying attention, probably only when Fuguku-sama was at work.
Izumi foresaw a lot of mysterious pranks and general chaos within the village that conveniently keep the Military Police busy and away from home. The sun started to sink, Itachi's shoulders tensed, and the gleam in Shisui's eyes made her believe he had the same strange prophetic vision.
Funny, that.

Or: au where Itachi actually has friends that are ride or die for him, Izumi has a personality, and Shisui is also there.Series

Summary
"...Want to fight for it?" The Uchiha suddenly spoke up, and Hana almost choked as she barely avoided fumbling with her kunai in surprise. That certainly wasn't what she was expecting. She was expecting the girl to turn and walk away with a dismissive gesture, or demand she get the training ground anyway in a holier-then-thou Uchiha voice, maybe.
It's not quite that Uchiha didn't start fights, really, but they were rarely so blatant about it, usually more then content to goad someone into throwing the first punch.
She must have taken a second too long to answer, though, because the Uchiha tilted her head at Hana's silence, and her brain short circuited as the sun caught the girl's coal black eyes and seemed to set them alight-
"Yeah. I kinda do, Uchiha-hime."

Summary
"Why?!" She growled, stepping forward and sidestepping the shuriken thrown at her foot again. "Why would you do this? That's your Family! Your Clan! What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
"Well, that's just the thing. They aren't my family, or my clan- they've made that clear for years. I'm just doing what I always do. I'm keeping the people close to me safe." She shrugged.
Hana went blind with rage, eyes squinted and ready to pounce, sentiment swallowed as she'd been taught, feeling the Kuromaru Brother's absence like a missing limb-
She didn't notice the senbon until it was too late.

Or; all good things come to an end, and Uchiha's are nothing if not magnets for tragedy. This was never going to end well, but somehow it still ended worse then expected.Series
