Summary
Being nine years old, Beatrice Espinoza tended to ask a lot of questions, and Lucifer Morningstar did his best to answer with as much information and patience as was possible for him. But sometimes she would ask one that was particularly difficult for him to answer. At the moment, the Detective looped around a corner, leaving him alone with her offspring. Trixie fixed him with a look. One that told him he was about to be at her mercy again, as she begged for his knowledge on multiple subjects. But when she opened her mouth and made her inquiry, he was thrown slightly off kilter and he stared at her, mouth opening and closing like a fish's, as he searched for the answer.

Trixie was running and she was afraid.
Her heart pounded in her chest. Her feet hit the hard, smooth ground beneath her. Her heavy breathing echoed off the far away walls. She halted and whirled around to make sense of her surroundings, confused by the tall metal shelving reaching towards the ceiling above her.

Summary
He wished his Father had never instructed him to make the stars. The explosions of light he created in the void of darkness had also sparked something new in him. They were beautiful and all slightly different and he felt such pride as he looked upon them. He thought he finally understood why his Father was so interested in the humans He had made.
But then Father forbade him from using his light bringing ability with no reason as to why, and he felt a flicker of something deep within him.
