Description:

All Oliver Wood cared about in school was quidditch and getting into the pros. But with the war picking up after he graduates, he finds himself involved with the Order of the Phoenix and discovering there is so much more to life than sport. He meets Iris Evans, a long-lost relative of Harry Potter with a mysterious past and even more mysterious gifts, finding himself drawn to her. As they go through life together, they find themselves - and their children - involved in yet more threats to the wizarding world as they learn more about what Iris can do and why.

This series starts out during "Half Blood Prince" then moves into next generation. While there are a fair amount of original characters, the next generation does center around the Weasleys and Potters a lot, so many of those kids play a big role in later stories.

Notes:

This is the first ever series that I wrote on FF.net, though I hadn't intended it to be quite that extensive when I started it. I began writing the first story - Saving Iris - in 2004 and then abandoned it (and all fanfiction) for several years as I started work on my career. I then came across it one day randomly in 2016 or 2017 and decided to finish it. That then led to the second story - A Life Worth Living - and again, I was only thinking it would be the two stories. Well, the last chapter of that story only got me more inspired and before I knew it, I had created an entire universe around Oliver Wood's family and here we are. Though it wasn't until I was writing the second side story that I came up with the overarching theme/plot for the rest of the series and decided the exact length and such.

And, as you'll likely see as you read, I definitely grew and developed as a writer throughout it. As I said, I didn't have the end goal in mind when I started it, so there are some minor issues/holes in earlier stories. I'm slowly uploading the entire thing here and going through and doing some minor editing as I do since the entire thing is finished and I can hopefully fix up some lingering plot holes and such.

There are eight books (aka novel-length stories), four shorts/side stories, and several oneshots. I'm slowly uploading everything in chronological order (though not the order they were written in - some of the oneshots came later), but just in case, here's a guide.
