"From this high up, she and Chat Noir had a pretty impressive view of the Clara Nightingale concert currently underway at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Though the sound quality was a bit echoey, they could hear well enough. But…it wasn’t the same as actually BEING there. Marinette imagined Alya, Nino, and the rest of her friends—well, most of them—dancing and laughing in the crowd.
Being a superhero was an honor and a privilege….but every so often Marinette missed the days when she was just a normal girl with a normal life."

When Chat Noir becomes trapped in the midst of an akuma attack, Marinette insists on freeing him herself with the help of his staff.
And when Adrien Agreste is having an awful week, Ladybug arrives to cheer him up with a gentle smile and an invitation to experience the sights of Paris.
These events wouldn't be connected at all, except for four little words Adrien can't help but notice sound strangely familiar...

"A few days after meeting and connecting instantly at a New Year's Eve party, Marinette and Adrien find themselves huddling outside the school auditorium during auditions for the latest school musical: 'The Adventures of Ladybug and Chat Noir' (as written by Alya Cesaire and Nino Lahiffe). Their initial hesitation prevents them from being considered for a callback...but maybe singing a duet about the walls between the main characters could change that..."
