Yoongi woke up sick. His throat was sore, his nose was stuffed, and he was extremely cold. He wished he had someone to cuddle with but chose to set his longing aside and focus on getting better. He didn’t want to do it alone, though, so he sent a quick text to the group chat and went back to sleep, hoping someone, anyone, would be there when he woke up.

He didn’t mean to forget his umbrella. But he was already running late, and he had left it buried deep in a bin that he didn’t have time to sort through this morning. Taehyung thought he was in the clear when he left class, but as he was halfway to the studio to practice with Jimin, the rain came down hard. It was sudden, the pale gray day becoming dark and chaotic, exactly the weather Taehyung was not prepared for. At all.

Summary
Waking up next to Jeongguk was still the best part of Taehyung’s day. As he lay there, nestled in his bed with his arms wrapped loosely around him, he let himself slowly wake up. He tentatively opened his eyes, using one arm to shield himself from the light gently filtering in as he attempted to blink away the remnants of his slumber. He was ready for a calm morning, sitting up slowly to gently untangle himself from Jeongguk and giving him a quick peck on the forehead before looking over into his mirror to see his hair sticking up in all directions.
