Dallas Texas, 1998. The world is traditional in its values and social norms. Alphas work while omegas are homemakers. In the United States, the Alpha-Omega Relations Program was designed to pair alphas to their potential omega.

Jared Padalecki married Jeffrey D. Morgan April of 1998. To others that graduated from the program, his marriage was the model of what the program had to offer.

Jensen Ackles watched his older brother (or sister, according to traditionalist titles), Omega Josh, marry to a staunch traditionalist. He couldn't sit back as he watched his smart sibling be destroyed by a world where omegas subservience to their alphas was expected from any marriage. He swore he would destroy the system and save every omega.
