Summary
When Freed had started getting gray hairs, he'd been a tad bit pouty about it until Laxus pointed out that, combined with his wrinkles and glasses, he looked wiser now. After that announcement, Freed had wasted no time in tricking the guild's new youngsters with what he called 'life advice', which the youths gladly ate up. Laxus could smell the bull from a mile away though, but decided to let his husband have his fun.

Summary
Freed hadn't been wary when Wendy had approached him, but he had felt a certain type of nervousity that usually appears when someone who's seen you in less than graceful states approaches you. That is, until she stands right before him and he can pick up the little telltale signs that she's far more nervous than he is. Shuffling with her feet, bouncing toe to toe, yep the child's jumpy alright.
Deciding to give her time to speak her mind, he merely gives her a questioning glance and in return, is met with puffed up cheeks and little fists balled in determination. "Mister Freed!" she yells and he winces a bit at the volume, making the girl colour red. "Yes?", he politely answers and Wendy aggressively sits down on the chair in front of him. "I have come to bargain!" she continues, face still determined but voice definitely a bit softer.

Summary
If there's anything Laxus Dreyar, captain of the royal guard and the king's personal bodyguard, could confidently say about the king's temporary replace, it's that the young prince is a definite pain in the ass. He's awfully stubborn, butting heads with nearly every official he encounters, yammering about something or other he can't find peace with. There's always something to complain about with the young man.
Even worse, the man is vain. Vanity is a trait that Laxus has never appreciated in other people, but has to admit that it's sometimes somewhat of a point he himself could work on. The difference however between Laxus and prince Freed is the fact that Laxus likes to take care of his appearance outside of his work, while the prince has taken to prancing around in clothes that look like they were made for him, bejeweled as though he's trying to pass for a christmas tree. It's working, certainly with that particular hair of his.

Summary
"Freed, baby, what on God's green earth are you wearing?" Bickslow asks, disbelief tinging his voice. Sensing the unspoken disapproval, Freed re-enters their dorm living room, arms spread to show off his garment. The movement makes his cufflinks shine under the light of their shitty dormlamp and Bickslow's almost afraid to ask what cufflinks are made of. "A casual date outfit", Freed replies with a confidence he really should not possess if someone managed to convince him that a tailored threepiece suit with intricate embroideries is an appropriate outfit for a casual date.

Summary
The pull of the lake is not an unknown one to Laxus Dreyar, but it's the first time in his life that he has given in to the impulse to travel there, consequences be damned. As a grown adult, he shouldn't fear his very own father the way he does, but he does nonetheless. Of course the main reason for his bone-chilling fear is the contrast between the man acting in front of the other villagers and how he treats Laxus. By spreading the word that Laxus is nothing but trouble and pretending to be a father concerned for his unruly son's behaviour and what was according to him, deteriorating state of mind.

Summary
For Freed, rigid rules formed the foundation of his very being. Mind you, the rules he decided to follow almost religiously were never ones placed upon him by others. He had followed enough of those in a past lingering in the backlog of his mind and returning to following them would certainly end with his mind in a state he'd long since forcefully abandoned. Self-administered rules were the only ones Freed Justine considered worth following.

Summary
It's a morning like any other and so, like any other morning, Laxus Dreyar gets up at exactly six to go on his daily morning jog while his boyfriend is still blissfully asleep. After the exercise he gets a shower, dresses for the day and then goes on to be an annoyance. You see, for all Freed is smart and handsome and everything else a man can possible be (including sometimes a bit moronic and a lot of times very haughty), he is also short.
He likes to tell Laxus he's not, in all tones of voice ranging from amused to sulking and Laxus'll nod and agree while standing at a hundred feet taller than his tiny, tiny, mouse-sized boyfriend. It's a garanteed asskicking move, but alas, maybe Laxus likes sparring with Freed in their shared kitchen, maybe he likes dramatically falling to the floor while his boyfriend triumphantly settles on his chest. Maybe, just maybe, he really enjoys the making out that follows after that.

Summary
1. A girl who's confused, but has got the spirit.
It's a precarious situation and Laxus doesn't know how to solve it. They've got the bad guy of the day cornered, but instead of going along willingly, the man thought it a good idea to get civilians involved. Quickly, the perpetrator had seen that there was no way to get out of his situation, with Laxus, Bickslow and Evergreen trapping him against the side of a building. So he had wrangled a little girl out of her screaming mother's grip and now, he has his one hand wrapped around her throat while he waves a weapon around with the other one.
To her credit, the little girl isn't going down without a fight, kicking and screaming as the situation keeps escalating. If the man wasn't wearing a mask, Bickslow probably could've done something about it. Brainwashing the girl herself is out of the question, as she's more likely to injure than save herself. Opening fire upon the man is completely out of the question, so now they're all stuck.

Summary
"What are those things still doing around here?" Laxus asks brazenly, watching a few demons scurry away with disdain clear in his eyes. His grandfather, ever the spineless pacifist twacks his kneecaps with his walking stick before answering. "You young insolent fool. They are an integral part of our society."
Before the old man can continue his explanation, Laxus scoffs. "Are they though?" he asks, not willing to hear a possible answer. "I fought with that lightning demon earlier and his power is laughable. I could've killed him and taken over his domain and the world would've kept on turning. They're evil beings without a purpose, you should've just got rid of them a long time ago."
