Summary
After losing her commission post-Endgame”, Kathryn Janeway has gone home to Indiana to live alone with her dying mother. Days blur and things like birthdays are easily forgotten, until a certain former Borg drone visits on a startling mission.
There be spoilers ahead... for... let's see... "Endgame" definitely; "Human Error" for another. Both are seventh season episodes. Also, I am a J7 fan all the way, but I also don’t believe that the OTP relationship must be the only ones ever for the characters. So, yes, I allow it to be canon that Seven and Chakotay have had a relationship on her way to realizing she’s actually in love with Janeway.
