Summary
Vision knew what a lot of words meant, in theory. Most words in fact, because a large chunk of his mind was born from a computer.
But knowing what a word meant in theory was very different to actually understanding it, or experiencing it in action.
Radiance, for example. He knew the dictionary definition. A warm glow, like that of the sun.
Used in a sentence: 'The radiance of her smile'.
But actually understanding had taken time. Mostly, time around Wanda Maximoff.

His synthetic heart had skipped a beat, and he held her closer, unable to help feeling protective. Feeling that he would always protect her, if he could.

Wanda wanted to tell him that she did, that she was sorry. She saw him now, and she trusted him, even though her opinion didn't matter much to anyone else in the room.'
From the moment he had asked her to look again, Wanda had seen Vision for the incredible being he truly was. Maybe someday, the rest of the world would catch up.
