Summary
Everyone in the city is well aware of the reputation that Daibazaal Manor holds – more secrets and oddities behind its wrought iron fence than much of the city proper – and Keith is no exception.

Summary
Keith didn't really expect to go from having his own nice (probably haunted) room with his own fluffy (probably cursed) bed to sleeping in a hastily constructed shanty slap-dashed onto the side of a ramshackle old country-home in the middle of nowhere.
Even being woken up by the occasional curious possum isn't too terrible – though he can't say he wasn't just a touch squeamish watching Shiro's clawed hand dart out and snatch the thing before his jaw unhinged and he swallowed it whole. After a week of sharing loaves of bread he'd pretty well forgotten that his new... boyfriend (Snakefriend? Boysnake?) was, well...
A giant and terrifying monster that could and may yet still flay him alive and spend a nice afternoon sucking the marrow from his bones – and that's if he feels like playing with his food, otherwise he might just get swallowed down in one gulp, and not in the way he was imagining.

Summary
Shiro tries to eat the first three ornaments he finds, because of course he does.
Keith isn't sure why he thought his giant snakefriend wouldn't try to eat the unidentified bite sized objects, but he really should know better by now. Next time he's just going to put everything in a box that says 'Not Food' and hope that Shiro can read... or that he'll choose to read, since his snake is a petulant one when he wants to be.
And right now he wants to be.

The thing about having a giant naga for a mate is that the baseline for weird and the threshold of Weird are almost indistinguishable.
