Nico’s voice crackled through the headpiece, “C’mon, Haze. I know what’s going on, alright? Will and I figure out your stupid date plan the moment we walked in.”
She heard Will’s voice faintly in the background, “Yeah, although I’ve got to say that these actors are pretty good. How much did y’all pay for this?”
Hazel groaned, ready to ram her head into the wall, “My god, please! I swear on everything holy that this is not a set up. You guys need to get out.”
“So it’s not a date?”
“No- I mean, yeah, originally it was supposed to be all romantic and whatnot. But it’s still an actual mission, you idiots,” she hissed.
OR a weird superhero AU where Hazel and Kayla send Nico and Will on a date mission, but the guys forget the mission part.

Summary
The Fire Nation has been at war against the other three nations for decades now. Things have been building up, and everyday the division between the four nations grows stronger. The Avatar seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth after the Fire Nation's attacks on the Airbenders.
But as the Fire Nation's victory seems to draw closer, a new generation of benders and non-benders, all having survived the perils of the war, are ready to step up and bridge the gaps between the nations, and hopefully put an end to the fighting.
Will they be able to reverse years of damage among the nations before it's too late?
OR the Heroes of Olympus in ATLA AU that no one asked for lol.

She scowls again, her gaze fixed on the brick wall. “Do whatever you want. I’m screwed either way.”
It’s not the most encouraging response, but hey—he’s been healing Ares kids since he was nine. Dealing with terrible patient attitudes is his speciality.
He closes the distance and kneels down next to her as she wordlessly moves her hands away from the injury. It looks bad up close, but at least it doesn’t seem deep enough to cause internal damage. Lucky her.
“I’m Will, by the way. What’s your name?” He’s getting tired of just calling her variations of the girl in his head.
“Bite me.”
…The girl it is.

“Ah, Mr. di Angelo. What can I do for you?” Chiron asks, his voice warm.
Nico feels a sudden wave of embarrassment wash over him as he glances down at the smuggled plate. “I, uh, was looking for Will. Kayla and Austin too. I didn’t see them at breakfast, so…food.” He gestures vaguely at the plate, briefly considering the repercussions if he were to chuck it out the nearest window.
Chiron’s eyes crinkle with amusement at Nico’s complete inability to function like a normal demigod, though his expression quickly flickers to something more serious, almost sad, at the mention of the three siblings. “That’s very thoughtful of you. Unfortunately, our Apollo campers are out for the day.”
Nico frowns, rolling a grape between his fingers absently. “Like, they are on a supplies run?”
Chiron shakes his head. “No, they’re still at camp. They’re just… on leave for the day.”
Nico’s frown deepens. “On leave? All of them?”
Chiron nods. “While I know they are eager to work, I decided it is for their benefit they take this week off, seeing as it will be a difficult one. So, I’ll be handling the infirmary duties until next Monday.”

“Come on, it’s the third building down! Pick it up!” Cecil urges, his voice barely carrying over the growing winds. Nico sucks in a shallow breath, pushing harder to catch up.
They only make it a few more steps, breathless and desperate, when an abrupt scream pierces the air. Nico whips around just in time to see mist wrapping around Lou Ellen’s arm, loose for a moment before it latches and pulls.
Only a few paces ahead of her, Will turns and lunges to her, grabbing her other arm. Nico’s stomach drops as the mist spreads from Lou Ellen’s arm, mindless of Will’s aid.
“Will, stop!” he screams, but he’s too slow. His steps falter as terror-filled blue eyes lock onto his, then they vanish from sight.

Nico snorts. “Did you not tell Cecil to, and I quote, ‘walk it off’ when he sprained his ankle?”
“Cecil is an exception. If I tried to treat every issue that boy comes in with, our stock would be clean out by the end of delivery weeks.”
“Something, something, medical malpractice.”
“I’ll medical malpractice you.”
“I want a new doctor.”"
OR Nico keeps showing up with new injuries and a lack of understanding of basic anatomy. Will is there to fix him up.

She stares at him for a second, then sighs. “Okay. Well, based on what you’ve told me about your mom, plus your looks and some personality stuff… I think your dad is Apollo.”
Will groans, slumping forward on the table. “I wanted it to be Silena’s mom.”
“You said you’re looking for your dad, dummy.”
“She’s a goddess! She could magic into a dad for me.”

“Tough day?”
She closes her eyes, exhaling slowly. “Fighting with Lee. He just… gods, I’m so fucking annoyed with him right now.”
Luke’s lips twitch into a faint smile. “Figures. Never met anyone else who could tick you off so fast.”
That pulls a small laugh from her. “He gives me good reason most of the time.” Her smile fades as lingering frustration boils back up, and the words begin to tumble out. “I get it. Camp’s been on edge recently with… everything. But that doesn’t give him the right to mother-hen me about my feelings with his stupid lie-detecting. I mean, it’s hard enough to do anything when everyone’s constantly turning on each other. And my siblings, I love them, but it’s like I can’t even breathe without someone needing me, because everyone’s scared all the time. And now I’ve got my—my best fucking friend on my case too? I just… I just wish things would get better already.”
When she’s all talked out, there’s a moment of peace. The relief of finally being able to speak her mind eases some of the negativity that’s been swirling through her since the afternoon.
But then, she sees it. Dark brown eyes giving way to molten gold, the friendly expression hardening .
“Lie-detecting?”
