  Summary

  Carlisle Cullen had experienced a long existence of isolation and facade, but the final wish of a dying woman sets him on a path to end his solitude forever. 'Prelude in C' explores the beginning of Clan Cullen: the transition of Carlisle from an isolated man to the head of a family. It starts in 1918 and will end in about 1930 or so.
