It’s too simple. Jaskier knows all the fairy tales, he knows all the true stories behind them as well, courtesy of Geralt. There’s always a catch, especially when it seems this easy. “All I have to do is tell him? If I tell Geralt how much I love him, he will then truly love me back and we’ll be happy together for the rest of our lives?”
The Man consulted the Book before him. “You’ll be happy together for the rest of his life.”

Summary
The Man looked up and Steve got the same sort of shiver of Otherness that slid along his spine whenever Eleven used her powers. “You want something?”
Steve nodded. “Yeah, but like… you can guarantee it will happen, right? Like no matter what it is?”
The Man nodded. “You ask for something you want. I offer you a task. You do the task; you get what you want.”
Steve took a deep breath. “My friends and I… we’re about to… do something dangerous. Serious. I want us all, every single one of us to survive.”
The Man nodded and turned to his Book to determine what the task would be. “You have to kiss a man.”
“Fucking what?!”
Eddie. That was the only option Steve had to fulfill the deal. He would have to kiss Eddie.
It worried Steve just a little that the idea of kissing Eddie wasn’t as unpleasant as it probably should have been.
