Notes:

The Kenobi Trilogy is a series of three novel-length fanfics focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi between 34 BBY and 32 BBY, the two years leading up to the events of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. I wanted to explore a largely unexplored part of Obi-Wan's life, as well as how his relationship with Siri Tachi evolved from their emotional breakup in Secrets of the Jedi to their quasi-romantic relationship in the Jedi Quest series. The Kenobi Trilogy is in part my explanation of how the two broke the ice and rekindled their friendship after leaving each other for the sake of the Jedi. The Trilogy takes a great deal of inspiration from other franchises set in the real world, especially the James Bond and Indiana Jones series (I suspect some commenters will point out the similarities and references as they see them) and also contains its fair share of real-world-style nastiness, including guerilla wars and terrorism as well as strong language and sexual references. My interpretation of the Star Wars universe is certainly a grittier and more realistic take on it than is seen many other parts of Star Wars media. Still, I try to use graphic violence, swearing, and sex with a level of discretion. I intend for the Kenobi Trilogy to be the proper Obi-Wan origin story we never got (and probably never will get with Disney at the helm of Star Wars.) Whether my work lives up to my own expectations or not depends upon you, the readers. I hope you enjoy the Kenobi Trilogy.
