Summary
Childe notices Scaramouche’s silence and shuffles into a more confrontational position. He scoots until he’s directly in front of him, sitting up straight to face him head on.
“I have a proposal,” he begins, and a sense of dread settles inside of Scaramouche’s stomach.
“Please don’t—”
“Spend your last summer with me. You’re staying on campus for the summer, right? We’ll act like a couple—dates, movie nights, road trips, the works, just until the fall quarter starts in September.”
Scaramouche grimaces like he just touched a roach. “I am not dating you.”

“Hey, wait,” he calls out, tapping his shoulder as soon as he can reach him.
The boy turns around, and his gold eyes are even more beautiful up close.
He’s really fucking pretty.
Venti’s lips curl up into a smile as he pulls his hand back. “I’m Venti, vocalist of The Windblumes. May I have your number?”
Never, in all eighteen years of his life, has he ever felt his heart stop at a person looking at him like he was insane. It’s a surprisingly nice feeling.
“No,” he says simply. He turns around again, and before he takes a step forward, he glances over his shoulder once more.
His golden eyes meet Venti’s again, leaving the vocalist waiting expectantly.
“But my band’s name is INK.”

Summary
tonight’s subject is a lot better than last night’s, plagued with irritating thoughts of the class president named kaeya with a long blue rat tail, an irritatingly charismatic personality, and a lot more height than albedo. personally, albedo doesn’t hate him. he’s clever, does his work well (even though he has a tendency to slack off), and he’s admittedly charming. what he doesn’t like about kaeya though is the fact that he likes to irritate him whenever he has the chance.
