With it being so early in the morning still, there had been no movement in the house. Therefore, there was also nothing to disturb the stack of red and gold satin cushions resting against one side of the Fukutomi and Kinjou household until a spotted black and white leg kicked up and sent them toppling down from the center of the couch.

Kinjou stared down at his two puppies, amusement causing his lips to curl into a smile at the sight of both Arakita and Machimiya wiggling unhappily on his polished wooden floor. The two pups were on their sides, whining piteously at each other and at no one with an occasional leg kick in the air.
