Summary
Wilbur has to figure out how to navigate a new life of anxiety and regret after being raped by the person he used to think of as his little brother. Oh, and his friend, Schlatt, is also there to help.
“…Wilbur?” he hears Schlatt’s voice ask through the speaker. Wilbur doesn’t answer. If he does, he’s afraid he will reopen the dam and he won’t be able to stop it flowing. “Wilbur why the fuck aren’t you in bed?” Schlatt asks, barely any malice to his voice.
“Schlatt” Wilbur responds, voice sounding absolutely broken. He hears Schlatt make some confused noise before Wilbur inhales a shaky breath and a sob breaks out of him. And that’s all it takes. The dam breaks. “Schlatt, fuck” he sobs, desperately wishing he could hold himself together but to no avail. “FUCK” he shouts.
“Wilbur… what happened?” Schlatt asks hesitantly from the other side of the line, voice softer than before. “Tommy. Tommy happened” is all Wilbur can get out before another wave of sobs wrecks through him.
