For a gargantuan, floaty, magical, fortress of a castle this place was pretty shit.
At least that was was Trevor had decided on his long walks through endless corridors because he was ordered to "rEeSt BeLmOnT!" or to "TaKe It EaSy".
He was taking it perfectly easy. That was really the problem though because taking it easy was making him want to lose his fucking mind.
What they really ought to be saying was: "What a great job! Get some fresh air, Belmont." "Have another beer, Belmont!"
"It's your castle now, Belmont. You fucking earned it honestly."Not that he actually wanted the damn thing.
Trevor stood in the doorway of a room he was fairly certain hadn't existed yesterday on his daily stroll. God, daily stroll.....like he was some sort of old man they kept in a home and were just waiting for him to slip and fall in the bathroom or something.
It was covered in cobwebs and dust. The bookshelves that lined the walls were written in all manner of languages and the oak tables that were perfectly placed at center had melted wax rings where candles once sat.
".......I'm so tired of this fucking place......" he grumbled to himself.
