Osamu wakes up feeling normal. It’s everything around him that’s less normal.
He doesn’t recognize the apartment he’s in, or the bed, and when he reaches out the other side is still warm which is maybe the most concerning fact. He grits his teeth and stands up, realizing his clothes are slightly baggy on him, even his boxers. He stumbles over to a mirror to confirm that he’s who he’s supposed to be, that he isn’t the issue here.
And he is. Baggy clothes aside, he’s clearly Miya Osamu, 17, right down to his fading dye job and dark roots.
