Summary
There were many traits that Sol possessed that Joon Hwi admired. Her headstrong determination to help others no matter how much she is busy and struggling with her own problems. Her ability to bounce back and to persevere whatever problem she encounters. Her loyal and genial persona. The list could go on but among said list of Sol's admirable traits was her ability to smile in spite of the dreariness or heaviness of the problem presented to her. To see her so shaken that her fake smile was nothing short of a grimace and a scowl just immediately rang alarm bells in Joon Hwi’s mind. Her pale complexion, which Joon Hwi earlier attributed to the exhaustion of running down the stairs but is now starting to believe that it was not just that, further intensified Joon Hwi’s worry.

Summary
Kang Sol is a woman of many things but being a good caretaker of herself was not one of them. Guess that just means that Joon Hwi has to fill in the void and appoint himself to be one to watch over her and make sure that she wouldn’t push herself too much. And somehow, that fact alone filled Joon Hwi with warm and fuzzy feelings that he doesn’t understand.

Joonhwi willingly and knowingly dug himself a hole so deep that he wouldn’t be able to recover. And he knew all too well that he has truly fallen. That he was indeed madly and deeply in love with Kang Sol. That he unheedingly offered his heart and soul on a silver platter over the woman before him. It was the final nail on the coffin Joonhwi himself created yet he basked in his new feelings made by the realization that he was irrevocably in love with Sol.

At the considerate gesture, Joonhwi softly tugged Sol’s wrist and made her sit on his lap. Once seated on his lap, Sol encircled her arms loosely on Joonhwi’s shoulders, grinning ear to ear. Joonhwi was aware that he was wearing the same dopey smile on his face but the fact just made him giddy inside. “Have I told you how much I love you?” he asked, softly putting a stray lock of her hair behind her ear.
Sol pretended to think for a moment before raising an eyebrow at him in a teasing manner, “You might have mentioned it but I think I need a reminder to make me remember.” Joonhwi chuckled and god, he is just so fond of the girl in his arms. Joonhwi leaned until no space was left between their faces and their lips met with one another with practiced ease.

“Sol?” the person on the other line said immediately after just a few rings. Joonhwi’s voice was so full of concern that it made Sol feel such a worse human being for being angry and ruining their night. “Hey,” Sol said softly, trying as much as she can to talk without betraying any emotion and the urge to cry, “Can we please talk now? Come back please?”
“Of course, just wait a moment,” Joonhwi replied in a very soft voice before he immediately hung up on the phone. Sol almost stood up to change out of her clothing since it would be a few minutes before Joonhwi came back from where he was but she was startled when the door of their bedroom opened almost immediately after the call, revealing Joonhwi.
Joonhwi, who was wearing a football helmet.
